This kimono is made from a mix of old and new indigo cloths, carefully sewn together. The fabric features patterns made using the resist-dye technique, where parts of the fabric are tied or stitched to keep the dye from reaching those areas, creating detailed and contrasting designs. This results in a unique mix of dark blue and lighter indigo shades, with each piece telling its own story of craftsmanship and tradition.
The fabric is soft and flows beautifully, giving the kimono a light and graceful look. The front has a scarf-like style, adding an elegant, layered touch.
