This kimono is made from old Indonesian Sumba ikat that I found chewed by mice, and created a puzzle from all the pieces that were still intact. Ikat is made by a technique passed down through generations. In the making process, the threads are tied and dyed in unique patterns before being woven, creating the distinctive, vibrant prints. This piece feels light and airy, perfect for summer, spring, and autumn. In the winter, let it be a piece of art on your wall.
